Description:
Roza Mite is an
• insecticide and anti-scabies treatment (pyrethroid pesticide) containing Brometrene as the active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of scabies and provides effective relief by targeting the mites responsible for the condition.
Composition:
•Active Ingredient: Brometrene
Indications and Usage:
vFor children aged 2 months and older and adults: Apply the cream or lotion to the entire body, including the scalp, behind the ears, palms, and soles of the feet.
vSpecial attention should be given to skin folds and the areas between the fingers.
vLeave the treatment on for at least 8 hours (e.g., overnight), then wash off carefully with water.
vFor children under 2 years old: Cover the child’s hands to prevent accidental ingestion or contact with the eyes.
vReapplication is needed after 7 days.
Warnings and Side Effects:
•Do not apply to children under 2 months of age.
•Avoid applying to the face, mucous membranes, or broken skin.
•Possible side effects include:
•Numbness, itching, redness, burning sensation, and skin dryness.
•Rarely, swelling or allergic reactions may occur.
•Avoid eye contact. If accidental contact occurs, rinse the eyes with large amounts of water.
•Pregnancy: No contraindication for use.
•Breastfeeding: No contraindication for use, but avoid applying it to the breasts.
•Notes:
•Treat all close contacts of the patient at the same time, whether or not they show symptoms.
•After each treatment, disinfect clothing and bedding:
•Wash at temperatures ≥ 60°C, then dry in the sun,
•Or expose to sunlight for 72 hours,
•Or place in a sealed plastic bag for 72 hours.
•Itching may persist for up to 4 weeks after treatment due to allergic reactions to dead mites. Do not repeat treatment during this period unless symptoms continue.
•Repeat the treatment if characteristic scabies marks appear after the 4-week period.
Storage and Handling:
qStore in a cool, dry place.
qClose the cap securely after use.
qKeep away from light and heat.
qStore at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
qKeep out of reach of children.
qDo not use after 6 months of opening.
